Vision and plans

The vision of Tulku Tseyang Rinpoche's project started already in his previous life in Tibet living  in the Ghosar monastry.

In his present life in Nepal Tulku Tseyang Rinpoche has seen how the poor families can not send their children to school and instead let them work for the family which gives very little improvement for society or the country all in all.

Therefore it is Tulku Tseyang Rinpoche's wish or dream to build a school for aproximately 100 pupils in Nepal to fullfill his vision. The pupils will be poor children from the villages, the countryside and even from India.

The way to get the children will either be by pick up or by apply. Every child will need a sponsor.

The school will take in all children and is not a monastic school. The children will be taught ordinary school subjects along with Dharma teachings.

The idea is to take in children from the age of 8. When they are around 16 years old, they can decide whether they want to continue as lay people or they want to lead a monastic life.

The main purpose of the school is to give the children a fundamental basis from where they can start a good life and help developing the society and the future of  Nepal.

There will be aproximately 7 teachers and 1 principle to teach and take care of the children.

In addiction to the school there will be a healthcare center to take care of the children aswell as the people in the nearby villages. The healthcare center will offer tibetan medicin along with western medicin.

In the long run it is Tulku Tseyang Rinpoche's wish to build a monastry for around 30 monks and nuns, a gumba, a retreat center for lay people, plus some long term retreat houses.

The lay people will get teachings along with monks and nuns in a meditaion center. For the people who have finished Noengdro there will be secret teachings aswell.

Teachers are not only monks and nuns, but can be Dharma teachers from all over the world.

There will be dinningrooms, a shop, a cafe aswell as a house for the people working in the project.

The project will be run partly by employees and partly by volunteers.

The first and main priority is to build the school, the childrens home, the healthcare center and the house for staff. It will cost about 253.500 € to build the schoolhouse. Next priority will be the monastry along with the Gumba. Last but not least will be the retreatcenter for lay people along with some small longterm retreat houses and a cafe'.
